I am writing you this straight from my transplanted heart…. The Ronald McDonald House is a special place for kids that have to go to doctor’s appointment’s often that don’t live close to the hospital. Many, in fact, almost all of my friends from the Children’s Hospital needed to use The Ronald McDonald House for tests, extended hospital stays, surgeries, etc. So, when my friend, Sam Finlay, on Facebook, whom resides in the U.K. announced she was doing a fund raiser/raffle for The Ronald McDonald House, I was happy to try to help! So, the owner of Creative Escape Papercrafting said it was fine to donate some card kits, like the “Fully Loaded”, silvers foil & gloss finishes on many papers & 18 sheets of paper (TRYING to tempt you to grab a raffle ticket or two, I confess!) Nuvo drops, Lawn Fawn Chunky glitter, Studio Katia bling goodies, and you may wanna just check out the video?!?! But there are all kinds of goodies & donations accepted if you live on the OTHER side of the pond, like me, being in the Mid-West. You can add Sam Finlay on Facebook from Blanford Forum. Hi Jen. Thanks so much for mentioning this great charity in your blog. It’s less than two hours until we start our cardathon with the target of making 100 cards for residents of our local Ronald MCDonald house to use over the Christmas period. We’ve also already raised £55 from the raffle with many of my friends who are unable to come this afternoon donating directly through the RMHC website.
Thank you so much Creative Escapes Papercrafting for the fabulous prizes for the raffle, they’ve already had a lot of interest! Besides that there’s an original canvas from UK street artist Streetartdrop who has been called the next Banksy, as well as the usual chocolate and wine.
Hopefully we’ll make a load of cards, a bit of money and a little difference to the lives of those going through a tough time this Christmas xx

WOW!!! I’m so humbled right now. Thank You for allowing Creative Escape to be part of this! I’m a bit overcome right now! However, the charity for December is going to be The Ronald McDonald House! Had to do it! Yes, Creative Escape Papercrafting believes in giving back to great causes & community. “Different by CHOICE” we say & hope everyone considers giving a bit to this great cause! You know, a few dollars or pounds makes a HUGE difference in their bottom line. A donation with a note is a great stocking stuffer!!!! 💙💙💙
