One of my crafty friends told me she was having some issues creating nice yet simple one layer cards… I asked her if that was a hint for videos and she said yes! Well, this is my first single layer card, featuring the gorgeous ALTENEW 4×6″ stamp set that can be used for just about any occasion with about a 4 inch floral spray focal stamp. It also has sentiments for friendship, love, thank you, Mum & Mom – for our friends across the pond that celebrate their Mums/Moms in March! (Sentiment stamp sets are expensive and rarely in a kit, so I’m pretty excited about this particular kit and the fact that I got an Altenew stamp treat! 🙂 So, this is a great set to practice making cards that are a bit easier to create because creating should be fun! Right? I love my layers and details but it isn’t always necessary when you have a stamp set like this. So, I went for details & have made a couple of single layer cards thus far… The first is the easiest and I’d feel comfortable sending it to anyone. Great for when you’re in a time crunch, too:
